About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python, SQL, and SAS and possess a keen analytical mindset to derive insights from complex data sets and support data-driven decision-making.

Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and SAS.
  • Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver data solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Provide domain-specific insights related to BFSI operations, products, and customer behavior.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and SAS – hands-on experience is a must.
  • Strong experience working in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and reporting techniques.
  • Ability to handle large datasets, perform data wrangling, and build meaningful visualizations.
  • Experience working in Agile teams using tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is an advantage.
  • Exposure to GCP, Hadoop, or cloud data platforms is a plus.
