About the OpportunityAre you a dynamic, hands-on culinary leader ready to launch one of Mumbai’s most exciting new concepts?Indulge Creamery is a premium, ice cream-focused café inspired by the New York Diner experience, opening soon in the heart of Bandra, Mumbai. We are seeking an experienced and energetic Head Chef to take full charge of our food operations, menu execution, and kitchen team.This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for a passionate chef ready to innovate in a modern, all-electric kitchen setting.What You’ll Be Leading (Key Responsibilities)Kitchen Leadership: Oversee and manage all daily kitchen operations and food production, ensuring absolute consistency and premium quality across all dishes.Menu Execution: Lead the entire team in executing our gourmet café menu, with a focus on breakfast items, bowls, high-end sandwiches, burgers, and our signature ice cream-based desserts.Culinary Excellence: Drive the narrative for our gourmet sandwiches and burgers, leveraging expertise in European, Continental, and Mediterranean cuisine to perfect and introduce new recipes.Dessert Innovation: Spearhead the café’s creative sundae program, leading ideation and precise execution of all modern dessert concepts.R&D & Collaboration: Actively collaborate with consulting chefs on menu R&D, recipe development, and innovative plating techniques.Operations & Standards: Maintain the highest levels of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen administration (ordering, stock management, SOPs).Team Development: Recruit, train, and motivate the kitchen team for service excellence and culinary growth.What We’re Looking For (Requirements)Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive culinary experience, including significant time as a CDP, Sous Chef, or Head Chef.
