Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role as Head, Therapy Operations at Fairy Tales. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, conducting and overseeing therapy programs, providing top notch parental experience, and ensuring efficient and effective therapy services are provided to children.


Qualifications


Educational Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in occupational therapy/speech-language pathology.
  2. Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (DECSE) or similar RCI-approved paediatric therapy courses.
  3. Certifications in specific therapies including Sensory Integration, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Neuro Developmental Therapy (NDT) etc.


Licensing with RCI:

  1. Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) to practice legally.
  2. A valid renewed RCI licence.


Practical Experience and Expertise:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of hands on therapy experience focused on child rehabilitation, developmental disorders, or neuro-rehabilitation in an early intervention setup.
  2. Expertise in handling conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and developmental delays.
  3. Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive equipment for children.
  4. Strong communication and empathy to interact with children and families effectively.


Additional Desirable Skills:

  1. Certification in child psychology or developmental psychology (for a holistic approach).
  2. Knowledge of inclusive educational practices for working with schools and integrating therapy plans.
  3. Experience in multi-disciplinary settings involving paediatricians, psychologists, and educators.
