The Cheran Group Of Companies is seeking a dedicated Site Civil Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time, mid-level position requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience, focusing on overseeing construction projects and ensuring that all work adheres to established regulations and principles. The role involves utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to ensure the successful completion of projects.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in construction management and a solid understanding of construction safety regulations (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles is essential for ensuring project compliance (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating accurate and detailed construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with BIM software for enhanced project visualization and collaboration.
  • Experience with project management software to efficiently plan and execute projects.
  • Strong surveying skills to accurately assess project sites and implement design plans.
  • Competence in scheduling software to manage timelines and resources effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities to address and mitigate engineering challenges.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and inspectors, to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Inspect project sites regularly to monitor progress and adherence to construction and safety standards.
  • Utilize engineering principles to provide technical advice and resolve any design or operational challenges.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and project documentation for stakeholders and project reviews.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure that materials and equipment are available as needed.
  • Develop and implement project plans to enhance efficiency and minimize risks associated with construction activities.
