About the role

Reporting to the Lead Product Developer Seasonings (Innovation), the Junior Executive-Innovations will be responsible for coordinating various project activities within the Food Service Innovation department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for culinary enthusiasts with 2-3 years of experience to further develop their skills and contribute to our innovation efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on culinary trends, flavor profiles, and ingredient innovations
  • Collaborate with senior product developers to assist in the creation and development of new food and beverage products.
  • Must have the knowledge of Savoury and sweet sauces
  • Participate in refining existing products to enhance flavor profiles, quality, and market appeal.
  • Coordinate project activities and timelines to ensure timely delivery of New Products.
  • Apply culinary techniques and knowledge gained through culinary education to contribute to product development.
  • Support the development of prototype and proof of concept model.
  • Prepare samples for customer presentations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate must hold Graduate degree
  • Candidate must have minimum 2- 3 yrs. experience of experience in new product development
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient functionality.
  • Strong culinary creativity and a willingness to learn and innovate.
  • Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
  • Effective project management and time management skills.

  • Ability to create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
  • Creative and passionate about new trends in food.
  • Basic culinary skills and creativity to assist in developing appealing food and beverage products.
  • Entry-level proficiency in product development processes, including recipe creation and sensory evaluation.
  • Basic understanding of ingredients and their impact on product quality.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey culinary concepts.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders on product development projects.

  • Basic time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
