Job Description:

- We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Policy Center Developer with a strong background in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Java EE.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and customize Guidewire Policy Center based on business requirements.

- Develop and implement integration solutions using Guidewire Policy Center.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement solutions.

- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Adhere to best practices and standards for Guidewire Policy Center development.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of Guidewire Policy Center configurations and integrations.

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.

- Strong understanding of Java EE and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for iterative (Agile) development lifecycle.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Guidewire Policy Center certification is a plus.

- Experience with other Guidewire products such as Claim Center or Billing Center.

- Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
