Primary focus:

Create precise models of customer products within the agreed time frame, based on technical drawings or the actual products Create Photo realistic renders Optimize digital files before sending it to client for review Strong understanding on how to accentuate the form of the products using lights and shadows Understanding UV sets and maps Perform daily tasks while following D & D CGI workflows & processes Re-topologize raw D models Create materials and textures, and set-up lights to produce photorealistic or stylized materials / shaders Provide technical assistance to the team when needed Serve as the team’s Creative QC Supporting tasks If needed, attend client meetings, calibration meetings and briefing Complete any adhoc tasks as assigned by the D Lead Follow company protocols with regards to job delivery and completion through MySGS Performs other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time Performance Management On-time delivery Right-The-First-Time (RTFT) Ability to render a model as per Client needs, which could be in terms of customer satisfaction rate or no. of amendment at SGS cost against no. of jobs performed by that artist Minimum of % unitilisation or productive hours on average

Technical Skills:

High proficiency in Autodesk Maya High proficiency in V-Ray lights and materials/shader Extensive knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator CS or above Demonstrate a breadth of competence in D forms, from mechanical design to organic objects, from photo-real to stylize Capable of creating any consumer product in D software which involves hard-surface and organic modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing; Knowledge in the fundamentals and basic principles of colours, lights, and shades Understanding of a D production pipeline Solid sense of three-dimensional design and attention to detail in organic and mechanical surfaces Knowledge of how a well-modeled object will react to light and reflection in a realistic and appealing way Knowledge and fluency in other lighting software and processes Texture painting ability a plus Solid art background a plus Beneficial knowledge on Esko, ArtiosCAD, XML file formats, Sculpting, and DS Max;
