Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, along with proficiency in popular testing tools such as Selenium, Java, Appium, Playwright, and API Testing.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web and mobile applications by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, creating automated test scripts, and identifying potential issues before they reach production. You will work closely with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to guarantee that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Manual Testing :

- Perform functional, regression, and smoke tests on web and mobile applications across different devices and platforms (iOS, Android, and Web).

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.

- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability issues, and user experience concerns.

2. Automation Testing :

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications using Selenium (Java), Appium, and Playwright.

- Develop automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing, ensuring thorough coverage across various scenarios.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and fast feedback.

3. API Testing :

- Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) to validate the functionality and reliability of backend services.

- Create and execute automated API test scripts using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

- Ensure that APIs adhere to performance and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for automation of web applications.

- Experience using Appium for mobile testing (iOS/Android).

- Familiarity with Playwright for browser automation.

- Solid understanding of API testing, including tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java (required for Selenium and Appium).

- Familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (especially for Playwright).

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

- Understanding of databases and basic SQL queries for data validation.

Testing Methodologies :

- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

- Understanding of different testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
