We are seeking a skilled big data developer with strong expertise in Scala, Spark & HDFS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data processing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data processing applications using Spark and Scala.

- Hands-on development in Scala, Spark, and HDFS platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient, tailored data solutions.

- Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices to enhance code quality and reliability.

- Deploy artefacts across different environments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

- Troubleshoot and debug Spark performance issues for optimized data processing.

- Work in an agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning and delivering high-quality solutions on time.

- Provide essential production support, addressing critical business needs and ensuring timely fixes for data processing batches.


Roles & Responsibility :


- Supporting Multiple ongoing and future big data projects in this fast paced environment.


- Solving big data problems by structuring and analyse the behaviour of data using a various data technology and tools.


- Handle large scale database, analysing the patterns of data to make strong and accurate business decisions.


- Benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them, be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms.


- Build & manage the data pipelines for billions of event in OTT domain.


- Code review and Mentor team members.
