Job description


Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Associate to support our insurance operations in various departments, including policy administration, claims processing, billing, underwriting, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an understanding of insurance processes, and a passion for providing exceptional service to clients.


Claims Processing and Management:

  • Oversee the intake, evaluation, and settlement of insurance claims.
  • Coordinate with claims adjusters, legal teams, and service providers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate claim payouts while mitigating risk.


Premium Billing and Collections:

Generate premium invoices, ensure accurate premium calculations, and handle collections.

Monitor overdue payments and initiate follow-up actions for collections.

Coordinate with customers on premium payment plans and adjustments.


Underwriting Support:

  • Assist in collecting data for risk assessments and policy underwriting.
  • Coordinate with underwriters to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Support in determining coverage terms, pricing, and risk classification.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in insurance is a Must
  • Experience with US General Insurance, Accidental Insurance, Cash quality is a Must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and practices
