Job Description


We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. 


To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. We'd like to meet you if you also have a portfolio of professional design projects, including work with web applications.


Responsibilities


  • Understand product specifications and user psychology
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
  • Create personas through user research and data
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends


Requirements and skills


  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or a similar role
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Background in project management and research
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop)
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills

How we hire


You’ll go through our recruiting process in the following order.


  • This is an opportunity to show us how your background fits in with what we’re looking for in our new hire. You’ll provide a resume to showcase what you’ve done elsewhere. Please note: a 1-minute video is required for consideration. Use your phone, loom.com or another app, and send us a link to the video.
  • 30-Minute video call or in-person meeting at our office in Indore. At this step, you’ll have a conversation with our business director to get to know each other and discuss the ideal test project as the next step. This could be a Skype or Zoom call if you are not based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  • You’ll then be sent a test to complete.
  • Test Project: This is your opportunity to work with us as if you’re already a part of our team. It’s just as important for us to see what it's like to work with you as it is for you to see what it's like to work with us Give the test project your best shot, and if things go well, we’ll make you an offer.
  • You’ve completed a test project, and we enjoy working together. At this point, you’ll receive an official offer from our team that, if you accept, will be the start of a rewarding and exciting experience.
