The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building robust automation frameworks, executing automation strategies, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts usingPlaywright (primary)andTypeScript . Build and enhance automation frameworks followingBDD/TDD methodologiesusing tools such asCucumberorSpecFlow . Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites usingCypress and Selenium . Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to understand requirements and translate them into test plans and scripts. Evaluate automation test results, identify defects, and work with teams to drive resolutions. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). Participate in sprint ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and contribute to test planning and strategy. Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and tooling. Required Skills & Qualifications 6–8 yearsof hands-on experience in QA automation. Strong expertise inPlaywrightandTypeScript(must have). Solid working knowledge ofBDD frameworks(Cucumber, Gherkin). Good experience withCypressandSelenium WebDriver . Strong understanding of software testing methodologies: functional, regression, E2E, API testing. Experience withREST API testingusing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright API library. Hands-on experience withGit , CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions). Familiarity withDockerand cloud environments is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience inAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments. Exposure toperformance testingtools (JMeter, k6) is an added advantage. Knowledge oftest management toolslike Jira, Zephyr, TestRail.
