The ideal candidate will design, implement, and govern large-scale data platforms in cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.Responsibilities- Design and govern enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores (ODS). - Lead the implementation of cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Architect scalable data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational data strategy. - Define data modeling standards and implement relational and NoSQL database solutions. - Develop and optimize modern data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery). - Leverage Big Data and streaming technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis. - Establish data security, access control, and governance policies across the data ecosystem. - Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align data architecture with business goals. - Mentor data engineers and ensure best practices in data design and implementation.Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.Required Skills- Cloud - Data Architecture - Data Warehousing - Data ModelingPreferred Skills- Experience in UK financial services or pensions administration domain. - Background in product-centric or SaaS environments. - Knowledge of MLOps principles and architectures supporting machine learning and GenAI applications. - Relevant cloud certifications such as: - - AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty - Azure Data Engineer Associate - Google Professional Data Engineer-Pay range and compensation packageImmediate to 15 days notice period.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.```
