Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our team. The IT Administrator will provide end-user support, manage and deploy hardware and software, and assist in server administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for all software, applications, and hardware, including Office, Outlook, PCs, laptops, printers, phones, and other peripheral devices.
- Software and Application Installation: Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software and applications such as Office 365, Outlook, and other company-approved applications.
- Hardware Administration: Administer, deploy, and support all desktop technologies, including PCs, laptops, printers, and related peripherals (Help with shipping laptops to end users once OS and applications are installed).
- Backup and User Administration: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Windows Backup, group policies, and user account administration.
- Operating System Support: Provide support for Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, including troubleshooting and configuration.
- Network Support: Perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting and configuration for routers, switches, and firewalls. Assist with network management tasks as needed.
- Ticketing System Management: Document, track, and respond to service requests and reported problems through the ticketing system.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist in coordinating with vendors for hardware and software procurement, repairs, and other services.
- NEO/LDO (New Employee Orientation/ Last Day at Office) process definition and management from an IT usage standpoint.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Any technical degree or equivalent.
- Certifications: Relevant technical courses or certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support and administration, with a focus on hardware, software, and network management.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
