Deputy General Manager - Legal Key Responsibilities: Legal Drafting & Documentation:- Draft and vet Sale Deeds, Agreements, Term Sheets, General Power of Attorney (GPA), Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and Financial Agreements like, Facility agreement, Hypothecation deed, mortgage deed, and Release deed.- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation in all legal drafts.- Modify and finalize drafts in alignment with business and legal interests. Due Diligence:- Conduct and review legal due diligence for land and project acquisitions.- Identify title issues, encumbrances, and compliance risks. Legal Advisory:- Advise internal teams on legal risks, documentation structures, and enforceability.- Collaborate with external legal counsel when required. Desired Candidate Profile:- LLB or higher qualification in Law from a recognized university.- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in real estate, corporate legal, or commercial contracts.- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in Karnataka.- Excellent command over legal drafting, analysis, and contract negotiation.- Fluent in Kannada and English - both spoken and written.- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple legal matters independently.
