Experience with Azure SQL PaaS, and MS SQL and Oracle Databases in Azure Cloud. Experience in MSSQL Server Performance - CPU, Memory, High usage and database maintenance, Query Performance. Knowledge Backup and restore operations on the databases, Azure Blob Storage. Knowledge in database migration, Installation, and upgrades. Should be able to deploy and Troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances, SQL High Availability Instances etc. In-depth knowledge of Oracle (12c, 19c) and high availability architectures. Working knowledge of disaster recovery architectures, specifically Dataguard, building and maintaining environments. Working knowledge of Database monitoring methodologies, RMAN Backup and Recovery, GoldenGate replication. Strong understanding of performance tuning methodologies. Knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms and operating systems including scripting, editors, etc. Working knowledge of database security implementations, data privacy. SQL Server and Oracle databases related vulnerability management.Roles and Responsibilities: Leadership - handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations Strong communications skills – Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain customer responsibilities in resolving issue; communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence.
