A Social Media Paid Marketing Manager will be a vital member of marketing team, responsible for
planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on paid advertising campaigns across popular social
media platforms. This role is essential for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue
through data-driven, creative, and strategic management of paid social media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Paid Social Strategies:
Create and implement paid social media marketing strategies that align with business goals and
maximize ROI across platforms such as Youtube, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn,
Twitter/X,
Campaign Setup & Optimization:
Set up, monitor, and regularly optimize paid social ad campaigns to achieve key performance
indicators (KPIs) and stay within allocated budgets.
Audience Targeting and Segmentation:
Segment and target audiences using social ad platform tools, leveraging first-party data and
behavioral insights to maximize relevance and campaign impact.
Creative Collaboration:
Partner with design and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives, recommend
messaging, and test multiple ad formats/landing pages (A/B testing).
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze campaign data, prepare reports, communicate insights, and make proactive
recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget Forecasting & Management:
Manage and forecast campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and achievement of
business objectives.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Work closely with digital product, compliance and broader marketing teams to align campaigns
with broader organizational priorities and launches.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
Keep pace with new ad features, changing platform algorithms, and privacy regulations to
maintain best-in-class campaign performance.
Vendor & Agency Management:
Where relevant, manage agency relationships, media partners, and third-party vendors to
ensure smooth execution and reporting.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 3-5+ years managing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms,
ideally with a track record of performance growth and cost optimization.
Technical Proficiency:
o Deep familiarity with paid ad platforms (Facebook/Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads,
DV360 Twitter/X and Google Ads.)
o A/B testing, audience segmentation, and pixel/tracking setups (Facebook Pixel, Google
Tag Manager, Linkedin Insight Tags and Twitter Pixels).
o Data analysis with tools such as Google Analytics and platform-native reporting panels.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking:
Ability to use data to drive strategy, optimize performance, and report actionable insights [6][4] .
Creative Collaboration:
Partner with content and creative teams to produce engaging ad copy, visuals, and videos.
Project & Budget Management:
Organize campaigns effectively and manage substantial advertising budgets with strong ROI
focus.
Communications Skills:
Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
Adaptability & Growth Mindset:
Eagerness to stay up to date with platform changes and continually test new strategies for
competitive advantage.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Analytics) are a plus.
