Role: Functional Domain Architect

Location: Noida or Bengaluru

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 would be preferred

Job Description:

  • Define and understand the product strategy road maps, coordination with customer's product managers and able to distribute the road map with other lead business analysts
  • Removes impediments; escalates to senior leaders when needed
  • Provides inputs to Lead business analysts working in different projects
  • Work with the lead business analysts, review the implementation and provide sign offs for the implementations
  • Coordinates with Technical Product Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager and Development Manager on the sprint progress, external dependencies, risks, etc.
  • Responsible for and works with Technical Product Manager to mitigate cross product dependencies
  • Co-ordinates go/no-go decision making for every release in conjunction with key stakeholders (incl. promotion to SIT, CVT, Prod environments
  • Educates the Lead business analysts, scrum team on agile requirements, agile planning and backlog creation, and other scrum best practices
  • Fosters environment of trust and collaboration. Encourages effective discussion, conflict resolution and decision making
  • Participate in requirement refinement, sprint planning, backlog creation, demo/review, retro, etc.
  • Forums of product experts: Create the run the forum of product owners, business analysts to share different implementation in other projects, programs. This helps in clarifying the dependencies, identify the reusability with in the programs


Key Technical Skills Required


  • Domain Experience: Strong experience in GDS products in terms of functionality. Experience in Sabre, Amadeus GDS experience is must
  • Product Understanding: GDS product experience at capability / entry level. Ability to define the workflows for each capability, able to create trace / path of capability to create dependency matrix.
  • Technology : Able to understand, read the code, understand the testing processes, able to understand the test data, and support QE team in generating the test data.
  • Experience in modernization program: Proven exprience in working in modernization program. This helps in extacting the requirements form the legacy system and ability to validate the implemtation in new system.
  • Agile mindset, understands what’s behind agile values and principles, ability to break overall product requirements in to smaller requirements
  • Understands agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Lead the team of business analysts in order to implement the current product requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the tools supporting Agile software development (e.g. Rally, Jira, V1)
