Overview Zencon Group is seeking an experiencedSharePoint Consultantto lead a modernization initiative for our legal client. The consultant will design and implement a secure, scalable SharePoint Online environment, migrate existing case-related documents from legacy network drives, and configure seamless integration with the LegalServer case management platform.Responsibilities Conduct a fulldiscovery and planning assessmentof client’s legacy file storage and data structure. Identify, categorize, and prepare eligible case files for migration (pending or closed after Jan 1, 2023). Design and configureSharePoint Online architecture , metadata schema, and permissions aligned with client’s office and practice group structure. ImplementLegalServer–SharePoint integration , enabling automated document access and metadata synchronization. Executedata migrationusing third-party tools (e.g., ShareGate, Mover, or AvePoint). LeadUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)and perform up to two refinement iterations. Develop clear, user-friendlytraining materials and system documentationfor end users and administrators. Conductvirtual training sessionsand provide post-go-live technical support. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system reliability, compliance, and knowledge transfer.Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ yearsof experience designing, configuring, and migratingSharePoint Onlineenvironments. Hands-on expertise withdocument migration utilitiessuch as ShareGate, Mover, or equivalent. Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft 365, Teams, and OneDrive administration . Proven experience integratingSharePoint with external systems(preferably LegalServer or similar case/document management systems). Proficiency inmetadata management, taxonomy design, and permission configuration . Experience conductinguser trainingand creating technical documentation. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills.Preferred Skills Experience supportingnonprofit or legal aid organizations . Familiarity withLegalServer APIsor data exchange mechanisms. Understanding ofinformation governance, compliance, and security best practices . Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or Microsoft 365 administration.Comp: 3.3-12 lpa/year
