The role involves supporting the firm’s audit, taxation, and compliance assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients. The Articled Assistant will work under the guidance of senior team members and Chartered Accountants to ensure timely and accurate execution of professional tasks.Key responsibilities include:Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and internal auditsPreparing and filing Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, TDS Returns, and other compliance formsSupporting bookkeeping, accounting entries, ledger review, and financial statement preparationConducting research on tax and GST provisions and drafting basic notes or repliesMaintaining documentation, working papers, audit files, and client communication recordsCoordinating with clients for data collection and resolving basic queriesEnsuring adherence to ICAI standards, professional ethics, and firm policiesThis role offers hands-on learning, practical exposure, and structured professional development aligned with ICAI training requirements.QualificationsBasic Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Taxation skillsProficiency in using accounting software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel and WordAnalytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skillsStrong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, and eagerness to learnEnrollment in CA course with ICAI and completion of IPCC or equivalentPrevious experience or internship in accounting would be an advantage
