Job Description:


We are seeking a talented Civil Architect to join our team in the telecom/datacentre industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and overseeing the implementation of civil infrastructure projects to support telecom and datacentre facilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Design civil infrastructure solutions for telecom and datacentre facilities, including site layout, foundation design, and structural components.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate site conditions and feasibility of proposed designs.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the construction phase, including review of construction drawings and materials.
  • Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any design or construction issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as project management and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in civil architecture and construction.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Civil Architect or in a similar role within the telecom/datacentre industry.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including structural design and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for architectural design and drafting.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or licensure (e.g., Registered Architect, Professional Engineer) are desirable.
