We are looking for an Accessibility Testers who are passionate, enthusiastic about accessibility and want to join team of like-minded professionals. Candidate will be working as independent contributor and responsible for creating digital experiences that are inclusive and meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Job Responsibilities :

- Perform Accessibility testing and audit for both Desktop and Mobile apps.

- Experience in various assistive technologies such as Jaws, NVDA, Voiceover and Talkback.

- Work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product managers to advocate for and implement accessibility best practices

- Create detailed reports on accessibility issues, including steps to reproduce and recommendations for remediation.

Job Requirements :

- Sound knowledge on WAI-ARIA, WCAG 2.0 Guidelines, Apple AA+ Guidelines, Voice over, JAWS, NVDA, Chromevox, HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, VPAT

- Defines communication and enforces accessibility standards.

- Understands the benefits of the various programming languages and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the website or application.

- Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures.

- Understands browser/screen reader specific compatibility issues.

- Keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between testing staff and project manager and/or client across multiple projects.

- Serves as a key participant in team and client meetings for accessibility-related stuff

- Define and improve processes and guidelines for creating accessible web sites and applications.

Environment :

- Windows laptop + jaws or nvda + color contrast analyser

- Mac machines.

- iPad or Android tablets.
