We are looking for a skilled and dedicated SAP FICO Audit Consultant to join our team, specializing in the review, design, and testing of internal controls within the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role is crucial for supporting integrated audits, external audits, and helping clients enhance their financial control environment within SAP.1. Core Audit & Control Execution- The primary focus is hands-on execution of control testing and deep technical analysis of the SAP FICO module and related security.- FICO Controls Testing: Execute detailed testing procedures for key automated and manual controls within core FICO processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Center Accounting (CCA).- Configuration Review: Review and assess the effectiveness of SAP FICO configuration settings that impact financial reporting integrity (e.g., posting period variants, document number ranges, key master data setup).- SAP Security & User Access: Analyze SAP security roles and user authorizations, focusing on critical transaction codes (T-codes) and tables within the FI/CO modules.- Integrated Audits: Support the execution of Integrated IT Audits by performing IT General Controls (ITGC) testing specific to the SAP environment (e.g., program change management, logical access, interface controls).- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and professional audit working papers, identify control deficiencies, and contribute to the preparation of final audit reports and recommendations.2. Risk Management & Compliance- Identify, analyze, and help clients remediate financial control risks and compliance issues within their SAP environment.- Segregation of Duties (SoD): Perform and analyze Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts within the SAP environment, particularly focusing on critical combinations across FICO (e.g., Vendor Master Maintenance vs. Invoice Posting). Recommend practical remediation strategies.- GRC Tool Utilization: Utilize or provide support for SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools (specifically Access Control) for running risk analysis and generating reports.- Regulatory Compliance: Assess client adherence to key financial and technology regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, local financial reporting standards) as they relate to SAP FICO controls.3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management- Mentor junior staff and manage effective communication with client financial and technical teams.- Mentorship: Coach and guide junior team members (Associates/Interns) on SAP FICO concepts, control frameworks, and documentation standards.- Client Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for client Financial Controllers, SAP Security Leads, and FICO functional team members during audit fieldwork.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with external audit teams, internal audit functions, and client technology personnel to ensure a seamless audit process.Required Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Computer Science.- Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years focused on SAP FICO Audit, SAP Security Audit, or SAP FICO Functional Consulting with a strong focus on controls.- Technical Knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of the SAP FICO module and its core configuration components.- Certifications (Strong Plus): Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or ACCA/CPA is highly advantageous.- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with proven ability to communicate complex control issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Must HaveMust have Implementation exp in SAP FICO+IT Audit- Must have atleast 4+ years of dedicated experience performing detailed controls testing and configuration reviews within the core SAP FICO module- Proven experience analyzing complex SAP security roles, critical T-codes, and user authorizations within FI/CO.- Direct experience supporting Integrated IT Audits by executing and documenting (ITGC) that are specific to the SAP environment- Hands-on SAP GRC Access Control Proficiency (ref:iimjobs.com)
