Description : - Role : Senior / Mid-Level Technical Artist (Unreal Engine)- Experience : 4+ Years- Location : Bangalore- Industry : GamingKey Requirements : - Strong experience working with Unreal Engine- Hands-on exposure to AAA game development- Expertise in Motion Graphics- Proficiency in Native C++ or Unreal C++ programmingRole Overview : - As the Technical Artist, you will bridge the gap between art and technology, driving the visual excellence and technical performance of our Unreal Engine-powered AAA game- You will lead a team of tech artists to develop cutting-edge pipelines, shaders, and tools that empower our artists while optimizing real-time performanceKey Responsibilities : Pipeline & Tool Development : - Develop and maintain efficient art pipelines, automation tools, and procedural workflows to- enhance productivityShader & Material Development : - Create high-quality shaders and materials in Unreal Engine, balancing visual fidelity and- performancePerformance Optimization : - Optimize assets, lighting, and rendering to ensure high frame rates while maintaining visual- quality across platformsCollaboration & Problem-Solving : - Work closely with artists, engineers, and designers to solve technical challenges and implement- cutting-edge visual effectsQualifications : - 5+ years in technical art roles, with leadership experience in AAA game development- Extensive experience working with Unreal Engine, including material editor, blueprints, and- NiagaraTechnical Skills : - Programming & Scripting : Proficiency in Python, Blueprint scripting, and knowledge of C++ is a- plus Shaders & Rendering : Strong grasp of PBR workflows, shader development (HLSL, GLSL), and lighting optimization- Rigging & Animation Tools : Experience with procedural rigging, character deformation, and- animation toolsAsset Optimization : - Deep understanding of LODs, texture streaming, and performance profiling- tools in Unreal EngineLeadership Skills : - Proven ability to lead and collaborate across departments, translating artistic goals into efficient- technical solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
