Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Optimization Consultant to support INNOFarms.AI in enhancing the scalability, cost efficiency, and performance of our Azure-based architecture (covering AI, IoT, backend, and Cloud workloads). This is a part-time, on-demand role suited for professionals with deep Azure expertise who can guide, implement, and optimize cloud usage while aligning with startup agility and growth needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic reviews of Azure resource utilization (compute, storage, databases, IoT Hub, AKS, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement cost governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance.
  • Recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
  • Support scaling across global regions (India, Middle East, SEA).
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
  • Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Functions, AKS, IoT Hub, CosmosDB, Blob, Key Vault, Monitor, and B2C.
  • Familiarity with microservices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with startup or fast-growth environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote, on-demand consulting.
