Equifax - Senior Cloud Infrastructure & iAM Engineer

About the Role :
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & IAM Engineer, you will architect, automate, and secure scalable cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead initiatives around infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and identity and access management policies to ensure robust cloud operations. This role combines advanced cloud engineering with cybersecurity best practices, empowering your team to deliver secure and high-performing cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Infrastructure Automation : Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Build, optimize, and manage Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines integrated tightly with GitHub repositories to automate application build, test, and deployment cycles.
- Security & Compliance : Lead vulnerability scanning, remediation, and patch automation using security tools including SonarQube, Qualys, and Wiz. Maintain hardened 'golden images' to ensure compliance and security baselines.
- Monitoring & Observability : Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies through Stackdriver, Datadog, and Splunk to proactively manage application and infrastructure health.
- Incident & Change Management : Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to rapidly diagnose and resolve production issues, managing incidents and changes using ServiceNow.
- IAM Policy Governance : Develop and enforce IAM policies on GCP, including creating granular custom roles and permissions to enforce the principle of least privilege, ensuring secure and compliant access control across cloud resources.
Required Experience & Skills :
- Google Cloud Platform : Strong hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Shared VPCs, and IAM.
- Infrastructure as Code : Expert level skills with Terraform, particularly GCP Terraform modules, for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- CI/CD & Source Control : Proven expertise in Jenkins pipeline design and management, integrated with GitHub for source control and versioning.
- Scripting & Automation : Advanced proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for automating cloud operations, security tasks, and deployments.
- Security Tools : Experience with code quality and vulnerability scanning tools like SonarQube, Qualys, Wiz, or equivalents.
- Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with enterprise-grade monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics, or Google Stackdriver.
- ITSM Tools : Practical knowledge of ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaboration Platforms : Comfortable working within Jira and Confluence to support agile processes and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to advanced secrets management solutions like HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk.
- Familiarity with modern deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary deployments.
- Experience with identity and access governance platforms such as Saviynt.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Google Looker Studio for reporting and analytics.
