What You'll Be Doing- Responsible for design and development of real time embedded software/firmware on Linux Platforms - To Analyse domain specific technical or low-level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement. - Participate in high level requirements analysis, High level and low-level software design - Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level testing - Performs code review following coding guidelines and static code analysis - Troubleshoots software problems which are complex in nature. - Documenting technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting and unit test cases, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle. - Follow defined process for software Development life cycle - Develops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project. - Develop new approaches to complex design problems. - Responsible for code and design reviews for the code / design developed by subordinates / peers - Technical stakeholder communication (knowing pules of customer, proactive in communication in right way, identifying potential escalation scenarios and pre-emptively handling them) - Mentoring and team buildingWhat Are We Looking For- Should be proficient in using C and C++ language on embedded platforms Linux, OOPS fundamentals should be very strong. - Working knowledge on media products with audio and video interfaces - Must have strong fundamental knowledge of audio formats, video formats, encoding / decoding standards, streaming protocols, multimedia frameworks - MUST have Strong knowledge of streaming protocols like RTP, RTSP, RTCP, WebRTC, P2P Tunneling. - Must have strong fundamental knowledge of Multi-threaded, Multi Process event driven architecture-based Linux application development with IPC concepts - Strong knowledge of multimedia framework such as ffmpeg, gstreamer, live555 - Basic knowledge of H264, H265, MP4 and Fragmented MP4, G711, G726, AAC, WAV and mp3 formats - Experience working with development tools like Codec analyzes, Audio/Video Analyzers, GIT, SVN, JIRA. - Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mind set, perfection seeker.Location - Ahmedabad, Pune
