Job Title:Java Developer – Manhattan WMS & MicroservicesLocation:[Specify location or Remote/Hybrid] Employment Type:Full-time / Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experiencedJava Developerwith strong expertise inManhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)andMicroservices architecture. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that integrate with Manhattan WMS, ensuring robust supply chain solutions and high-performance systems. Key Responsibilities Application Development:Design and implement Java-based applications and microservices usingSpring Boot,REST APIs, andJ2EE. Manhattan WMS Integration:Configure, customize, and maintain Manhattan WMS (Active platform, WMOS, SCI, MAWM). System Interfaces:Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and other enterprise systems (ERP, TMS) usingXML,EDI, andAPIs. Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize WMS and microservices performance. Testing & Deployment:Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; support CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts, warehouse operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Documentation:Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, and SOPs. Required Skills & Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Technical Skills:Strong proficiency inCore Java,J2EE,Spring Frameworks(MVC, Boot, Batch), andHibernate. Hands-on experience withMicroservices architecture,RESTful Web Services, andSOAP. Experience withManhattan WMS(Active platform, MOCA scripting, SCI). Knowledge ofSQL/Oracle,JMS/Messaging(Kafka, IBM MQ), andAPI integration. Familiarity withCI/CD tools(Jenkins, Bamboo),version control(Git), andAgile methodologies. Preferred:Exposure toCloud platforms(AWS, Azure),Docker/Kubernetes, andOpenShift. Understanding ofDesign Patternsandperformance tuning. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Nice-to-Have Experience withWarehouse Automation,Supply Chain IT, andERP integration. Knowledge ofManhattan Active Omnior related modules.
