- Design and implement automated data pipelines for data ingestion from various sources (CSV, APIs, databases).

- Build ETL/ELT processes for transforming raw insurance data into analytics-ready formats.

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.

- Analyse bordereaux data and claims patterns to support underwriting and portfolio management decisions.

- Create data quality monitoring and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data architecture and reporting systems.

- Build proof-of-concepts for new analytical products and data solutions.

- Continuously learn and apply insurance industry knowledge to enhance analytical capabilities.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related quantitative field.

- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R with experience in data manipulation and analysis.

- Solid SQL skills with experience in query optimization and database management.

- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data platforms (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) OR big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).

- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar).

- Proven experience with either data pipeline development OR statistical analysis and modeling.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and willingness to present findings to stakeholders.

- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and domain knowledge.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of both data engineering AND analytics (the ideal hybrid candidate).

- Familiarity with insurance business concepts and risk assessment.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.

- Experience handling unstructured data and data quality challenges.

- API integration experience and automated workflow development.

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

- Advanced features of Azure or Hadoop ecosystems.
