As a Workplace Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering effective workplace environments. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure that workplace designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute workplace design concepts, including layouts, materials, and finishes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their workplace needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Create detailed design drawings, presentations, and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
- Research and incorporate the latest workplace design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the selection of materials and furnishings.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that design deliverables are met within the established parameters.
- Participate in client presentations and meetings, providing design expertise and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in workplace design or related fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing workplace design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
