Job Summary:

Key Role Functions: In the role of a Hybris Developer, you'll take charge of:

  • Undertaking technical evaluation, design, and the creation, as well as unit testing of application adjustments for our e-commerce site powered by Hybris.
  • Addressing and rectifying any challenges or hiccups during application maintenance or live operations promptly.
  • Collaborating with our established development team on both maintaining and enhancing our e-commerce platform.
  • Demonstrating deep knowledge across various e-commerce modules including but not restricted to product pages, user account management, SEO strategies, and promotional tactics among others.
  • Spearheading integrations with both our internal systems and those of external vendors.

Your Daily Activities Will Include:

  • Crafting, evolving, and overseeing new attributes on the SAP Hybris Ecommerce Cloud platform, aligned with business necessities.
  • Engaging in proactive dialogues with business partners, SMEs, and third-party service providers.
  • When required, swiftly diagnose, and remedy solutions, offering improvements.
  • Guiding and supporting less experienced members of the development team on the nuances of the Hybris platform.
  • Ensuring smooth operations and timely upkeep of the live site.
  • Overseeing vendor relations and third-party system integrations.
  • Directing development phases from initiation to completion.

What You Should Bring:

  • A solid 3-year track record with the SAP Hybris Ecommerce Cloud platform. Proficiency in Hybris 6 would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like backoffice, hybris admin console, and smart edit.
  • Hands-on experience in creating a variety of CMS components using smart edit.
  • Proficiency in impex handling, groovy scripting techniques.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, RESTful and SOAP-based WebServices, JavaScript, jQuery, and BootStrap.
  • 3 years of Java development experience; updated knowledge on the recent Java editions is a bonus.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with the Spring framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain order in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong grasp of test-driven development techniques like Junit and Mockito.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-diagnosis skills.
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Eagerness to stay updated with the latest IT trends, blogs, and insights in the retail domain.
  • A degree in IT or a combination of relevant education and practical exposure.
