This role will be based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Candidates from Agri Trading companies are preferred.

Position Overview:

- The Country Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our business in Ivory Coast ( Africa ).

- This role will involve strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and a proven track record of managing finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.

- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

- Present financial information to senior management and stakeholders.

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.

- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risk.

Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.

- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and develop the finance team, providing coaching and mentorship.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Strategic Support:

- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and growth strategies.

- Analyze financial implications of strategic decisions and recommend actions.
