You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, secure, and timely releases across multiple environments.Your RoleAs a Release and Build Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release lifecycle, coordinating across teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and security standards. You’ll work closely with Product Management, RTEs, DevOps, QA, and Security teams to deliver reliable and traceable releases.In this role, you will:Release Planning & Coordination- Collaborate with Product Management, RTEs (Release Train Engineers), and DevOps to plan and coordinate releases across multiple teams. - Ensure alignment of PI (Program Increment) objectives with release timelines. - Facilitate release readiness reviews and ensure all dependencies are tracked and resolved.Release Checklist & Compliance- Own the release checklist and ensure all required activities (e.g., regression testing, documentation, approvals) are completed. - Validate that quality gates (unit testing, code coverage, security scans) are met before release.End-to-End Release Process Management- Manage the full release lifecycle—from release commit to release review. - Coordinate builds, deployments, and release notes across environments.Metrics & Reporting- Track and report on release metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and rollback incidents. - Use tools like JIRA, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Copilot to monitor release health and quality.Quality & Security Assurance- Work closely with QA and Security teams to ensure releases meet quality and security standards. - Support performance testing, penetration testing, and NFR validation as part of release readiness.Stakeholder Communication- Act as the primary point of contact for release-related communication with internal teams, leadership, and customers. - Provide timely updates and manage expectations around release scope and timelines.Continuous Improvement & Innovation- Drive process improvements in release management using Lean-Agile principles. - Explore and implement GenAI tools to automate release validation, documentation, and quality checks.Your Profile- 5–9 years of experience in release and build management. - Strong understanding of ITIL, release/change/configuration management. - Experience with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, SonarQube, and collaboration platforms. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. - Exposure to Salesforce.com release processes is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.What You’ll Love About Working Here- Opportunity to lead and innovate in a dynamic release environment. - Collaborative culture with cross-functional teams. - Exposure to cutting-edge tools and GenAI automation. - Continuous learning and career development support.About UsAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
