Job Title : QA EngineerExperience : 5+ YearsLocation : Hyderabad/HybridInterview : F2FWe are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation, scripting (Python/JavaScript), and strong command over SQL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and automated test scripts to ensure product quality and performance.Key Responsibilities :- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or JavaScript (e.g., using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).- Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, and database layers.- Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, perform data audits, and support backend testing.- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for new features and bug fixes.- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups in an Agile/Scrum environment.- Monitor, debug, and report bugs using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla.- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).- Advocate for best practices in testing, automation, and quality assurance across teams.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in QA testing Automation.- Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript for automation purposes.- Proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, data validation).- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.- Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test case management systems.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
