Your primary responsibility entails overseeing our India-based delivery organization, all while playing a crucial leadership role within our global IT Ops team.In this role, your impact will extend to scaling delivery across multiple Fortune 500 clients, thereby generating substantial ROI for our company. If you possess the requisite qualifications and are prepared to take on this challenging yet rewarding leadership position, we strongly encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our dynamic team.WHAT YOU GET TO DO :Global IT Operations Director Responsibilities- Oversee IT operations, including employee support, key systems and software, and IT spend management, with direct responsibility and reporting to executive management.- Maintain and drive licensing operations, focusing on sustaining and enhancing partnership status with key hyperscaler partners like Microsoft and Adobe, and identifying and pursuing license sales and opportunities with clients.- Act as a strategic partner to C-level executives, providing insights to align IT strategies with business objectives, advising on financial models and support structures, and ensuring successful execution of key operational and delivery center initiatives.- Create, maintain, and update an IT strategy to power the growth of the managed services firm. Elements would include developing a key systems roadmap, identifying IT related business risks, and ensuring the firm's compliance with IT controls necessary to conduct business.- Develop and implement strategies for infrastructure, disaster recovery, backup, and cybersecurity to minimize business risk and ensure business continuity.- Oversee audit activities that demonstrate Wimmer's compliance with client requests and demonstrate compliance with controls standards from bodies like the International Standards Organization.- Represent Wimmer's support capabilities, infrastructure, and team to client and channel partner stakeholders.- Manage, coach, and mentor IT Operations staff across three geographies, ensuring alignment of team member skills with the company's needs.- Take ownership and manage the execution of key IT operations-related initiatives.India Developer Center Site Management Responsibilities- Establish and cultivate a high-caliber Delivery Center for technical resources delivering against client engagements focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics, application development, and IT Support.- Act as an accountable leader responsible to executive management for locating a suitable facility for the center, executing required agreements, and managing the build-out and contraction of the space as needed.- Define, operationalize, and manage processes for the delivery center such as employee onboarding, equipment management, access management, and employee access.- Set key performance indicators and quality benchmarks to monitor the output of delivery resources and teams assigned to the center as well as the center itself.- Effectively manage the center's finances and take ownership of its profit and loss statement. Br accountable to executive management for center's performance across operational and financial metrics.- Work with project, program, and engagement managers on the delivery team to coordinate resourcing for engagements utilizing team members attached to the center.- Manage technical teams deployed on internal and client facing engagements in the IDC. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Delivery Center team members.- Manage the day-to-day operations of the delivery center.WHAT YOU BRING :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Information Services, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.- 12-18 years of overall experience in IT operations, service delivery, or related fields, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles managing global teams and strategic initiatives.- Proven experience in managing global IT operations teams across multiple geographies, with a focus on employee support, IT spend management and fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.- Demonstrated ability to maintain and drive licensing operations with multiple clients at scale.- Strong presentation skills and experience showcasing support capabilities, infrastructure, and team to executive audiences at enterprise organizations.- Experience authoring IT strategies, policies, and roadmaps in a professional services, managed services, or client service focused environment.- Demonstrated experience driving organizational compliance with IT controls and policies with internal stakeholders, external clients, and partners.- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones, with experience managing diverse global teams.- Ability to define, track, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) across IT operations and delivery center management.- Commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment while driving professional development within teams.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Willingness to travel up to 20% to client sites or global offices.- Preferred Qualifications:- Experience managing IT operations using Microsoft related tools, technologies, and frameworks.- A working knowledge of relevant Microsoft's Infrastructure, Azure, and Modern Work certifications.- Experience with AI and data analytics frameworks, modern DevOps methodologies.Certifications:- PMP (Project Management Professional): For effective project planning execution and delivery within IT operations and transformation initiatives.- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library): For best practices in IT service management
