Description : Role : Selenium TesterJob Summary : We are looking for a skilled Selenium Tester with 1-6 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.This role is critical for ensuring high software quality through meticulous functional, regression, and performance testing, requiring collaboration with development teams to identify, document, and track software defects effectively.Primary Responsibility : Test Automation Development and Execution : - Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and test cases using Selenium WebDriver.- Execute comprehensive automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the highest level of software quality assurance.- Optimize the overall testing process by researching, recommending, and implementing industry best practices and quality assurance tools.Defect Management and Collaboration : - Identify, accurately document, and diligently track software defects and bugs through their resolution lifecycle.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development and product teams to understand project requirements and ensure maximum, comprehensive test coverage.- Co-ordinate with development teams to facilitate the timely resolution of identified issues and bugs.DevOps and Process Adherence : - Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using tools such as Jenkins.- Utilize version control systems like Git for managing test code and collaborative development.- Work effectively within an Agile environment, participating in iterative development cycles and contributing to quality improvement processes.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 1 to 6 years of professional experience in automation testing.- Core Automation : Proven, hands-on experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver.- Programming Proficiency : Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# necessary for writing scalable test scripts.- Test Frameworks : Strong knowledge of industry-standard test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.- CI/CD & Version Control : Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and working experience with version control systems like Git.- Methodology : Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.- Analytical Skills : Excellent skills in identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software defects and bugs.Location & Experience : - Location : Hyderabad- Experience : 1-6 Years (ref:hirist.tech)
