The candidate should have a solid understanding of ABAP programming and be familiar with the latest SAP technologies and methodologies. Nice-to-have skills include ODATA, CDS, and RAP.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality SAP applications using ABAP programming language.

- Design and implement custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) in SAP.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Debug and resolve issues in the existing SAP landscape.

- Optimize SAP applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

- Provide technical support and maintenance for SAP applications.

- Document technical specifications and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including experience with SAP ERP modules.

- Strong understanding of SAP development tools and methodologies.

- Experience with SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.

- Knowledge of SAP data dictionary objects, ALV reporting, and SAP scripts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

ODATA :


- Experience in developing and consuming ODATA services in SAP.


- Understanding of SAP Gateway and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

CDS (Core Data Services) :


- Knowledge of CDS views in SAP HANA.


- Ability to create and manage CDS views and use them for efficient data modeling.

RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) :


- Understanding of the RAP model in SAP S/4HANA.


- Experience with developing and managing RAP-based applications.

Preferred Certifications :

- SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.

- SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for SAP HANA.
