The company's head office is in Pennsylvania, USA, with a regional office in Belgium.URL:Position Objective We are looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in web development to drive the design, development, and deployment of intelligent applications. The ideal candidate will lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor teams, and integrate AI models into scalable web platforms. As a Lead Engineer, you will play an important role in system architecture, design, development and ensuring the products meet high quality standards and guiding other development team members.Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations) Lead the development and integration ofAI/ML modelsinto web applications. Architect and optimizeAI-driven web solutionsusing frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn etc. Oversee the deployment of AI models usingcloud services(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto define AI strategies and implementation. Guide the development ofscalable web applicationsusingAngular, C#, NestJSetc. Ensureefficient data processingand model deployment in production environments. Optimize AI models forperformance, accuracy, and scalability. Stay updated withthe latest AI/ML trendsand web development technologies. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.Critical Success factors (critical / high impact aspects of role) Strong expertise inmachine learning algorithmsanddeep learning frameworks. Proficiency inPython, JavaScript, and web development frameworks. Experience withRESTful APIs, cloud computing, and database management. Familiarity withMLOps toolsfor automating machine learning workflows. Understanding offrontend and backend developmentfor AI-powered applications. Ability to work withlarge datasetsand optimize AI models for production.Academic qualification Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related fields.Experience (exposure) 10+ years of overall Software development experience and 6+ years of experience in AI/ML software development.Key attributes (critical functional competencies) Experience inAI-driven web applications, edge devicesandcloud-based AI services. Experience in thehealthcare industryandRTLSis desirable.
