• To succeed in this role, the candidate should have a broad set of MarkLogic NoSQL technology skills to be able to design, build, and support robust NoSQL solutions and learn quickly as the industry grows
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL technologies interacts and complement
• Deep understanding of internals of NoSQL framework
• Previous experience and a strong technical background deploying, administrating, tuning, monitoring, and maintaining database technologies including but not limited to; MongoDB, Oracle NoSQL, Hadoop(Cloudera/HortonWorks)
• Solid experience in database tuning, design, security, backup, recovery, and archival concepts.
• A record of working effectively with application teams, and executing on multiple projects in varying stages of the development life cycle is important
• The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies quickly and be able to transfer knowledge to others
• Candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills. Be able to grasp the problem at hand and recognize appropriate approach, tools and technologies to solve it
• Candidate should possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team atmosphere
• Work effectively with minimal direction.
