We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Team Lead to manage, mentor, and guide our IT team while ensuring the smooth delivery of technology solutions and services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading day-to-day IT operations, overseeing infrastructure, supporting business applications, managing incidents and escalations, and driving IT projects from planning to execution.

This role demands a mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Management :

- Lead, mentor, and coach the IT team (system admins, support engineers, developers, or network engineers).

- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure high-quality outcomes.

- Conduct regular team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews.

- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

IT Operations & Support :

- Oversee IT service desk operations and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

- Manage escalation processes for critical IT issues and provide hands-on support where necessary.

- Ensure system availability, uptime, and adherence to SLAs.

- Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Infrastructure & Security :

- Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage, and endpoints.

- Ensure cybersecurity best practices including firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and compliance with organizational policies.

- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for IT hardware/software procurement and support.

- Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.

Project Management :

- Lead and deliver IT projects (infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, ERP/CRM rollouts, automation initiatives).

- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Track project progress and ensure timely execution within budget.

Business Collaboration & Strategy :

- Partner with business leaders to align IT strategy with organizational goals.

- Provide input on IT budgets, resource planning, and technology investments.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption for business growth.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy, and security regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.

- Experience in Windows/Linux server administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL frameworks.

- Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices.

- Proficiency in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.

- Strong communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications.

- Exposure to M365, Active Directory, ERP/CRM systems, DevOps practices.

- Experience with automation tools, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and monitoring systems.

- Previous experience in leading IT projects across distributed or global teams.
