Also, our Valuation team is amongst India’s premier and preferred teams, with a reputation built over the years based on its quality and integrity. The team has been involved in path-breaking merger valuations and complex valuations such as the first overseas swap carried out. Deloitte valuation professionals help clients solve complex business and transaction issues, including analyzing alternatives. Providing well-reasoned valuations and advice is only part of the offering. Just as important, Deloitte professionals understand how to develop valuation estimates in concert with prevailing accounting, tax, and regulatory codes.As part of the larger Deloitte network of member firms, our clients also have access to a full suite of professional services to address their needs through the transaction lifecycle and beyond. We apply our experience to provide valuation analyses for tax, financial reporting or other regulatory, compliance or management planning requirements .Your work profileAs a Director in ourValuationsteam you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll: Take lead in finding business development opportunities within Deloitte and in market. Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of differing sizes operating across a diverse range of industries Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solutions Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members Produce assignment budgets and timetables, and manage delivery against them Focus team on key priorities and ensure smooth service delivery within the defined competency/geographical area Manage client relationships and ensure quality of deliverables to the client. Take an active role in delivering advisory services to high growth organizations with a diverse team Look for opportunities for other functions/service lines. Create long term relationships with Deloitte member firms Achieve expertise in a specialization Facilitate the integration process of new recruits Take an active role in contribution to the working environment of the teamDesired qualifications Academic achievements with preferably a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering or other relevant qualification (CA / CWA / MBA / CFA / CPA etc) Preferable to have: Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience related to financial modeling Strong excel skills - other relevant technical analytical skills could also be an advantage e.g. Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, Power Query. Knowledge of Advanced Excel, strong mathematical and quantitative skills Having followings will be advantageous Knowledge of Monte Carlo Simulation technique Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / IFRS / US GAAP Experience in using valuation tools, including Bloomberg, financial research portals etc. Expected to possess: Strong conceptualization skills and ability to convert plans to actions Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills backed by an enthusiastic approach and a diligent client focus. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong external consulting or advisory experience is a plusLocation and way of working Base location: Bengaluru This profile involves frequent travelling to client location Hybrid is our default way of working.
