About the Job To manage an individual portfolio consisting of travel agencies and corporate accounts. Drive sales and increase market share of Air France and KLM in the region to realize NTR and nett margin within the scope of the Establishment Business Plan. Key Responsibilities 1. Manage own portfolio Core Activities: · Manages the portfolio to farm revenues and hunt new revenue opportunities so as to grow it. · Negotiates corporate and trade agreements under the policy set by the Management · Sets sales visits as per head office guidelines · Manage and optimize the planning of visits accordingly to customer segmentation, targets of visits and sales lead actions (as per set parameters)· Uses the head office tools to efficient visits – SFDC, QlikView · Pro-actively translates and does analysis based on various MIS reports (forward bookings, reports, MIDT etc.) into commercially viable sales actions · For Pan India accounts take responsibility in active management with all stakeholders – trade or corporate · Launches actions designed for companies and distribution network with targeted customers and defined ROI · Provides timely and reliable market information to the sales manager and other departments · To ensure a quality of service and of commercial follow-up as per head office guidelines · Promote product developments across customer segments · Ensure follow-up on previous sales calls and outstanding issues. · Coaches travel agents on Air France, KLM and SkyTeam procedures and new products · Contributes to the settlement of any after-sales claims in the shortest time in cooperation with customer relations · Coordinate with partner airlines where relevant e.g. Delta Airlines 2. Gathers and analyses market intelligence to provide reliable reporting to the sales manager Core Activities: · Evaluates Business potential of existing and new markets. · Monitors and reports on competitors' activities as per compliance guidelines · Monitors and interprets statistics 3. Build customer Loyalty Core Activities: · Builds and maintains relationships with clients. · Advises loyal customer on routing, pricing, and/or other policies to optimize sales · Organizes client events to motivate, network and provide product familiarization to optimize sales · Follow up on customer challenges through the travel journey 4. Develop new business Core Activities: · Generate new business acquisition & Business development (maximizing new sales opportunities)· Active visibility in local market at networking events to improve and maintain relationship and to hunt for new business Main Interface External: · Corporate and Trade customers (including Blue Biz)· Flying Blue members · Partner airlines Internal: · Peer group - Account Managers, Account Support, · General Manager, Commercial (DC) team, Call Center, Finance team, Stations Job Requirements: knowledge, learned disciplines, experience. · Sales knowledge, either by education or experience · Commercial understanding (pricing, contracting)· Fluent in English Competencies · Results and commercial orientation · Team spirit · Innovation · Building and maintaining relationships · Problem Analysis · Adaptation · Impact Note – Only those candidates shall be contacted from the recruitment team who are eligible as per the job description.
