Job Title: AWS Engineer (Serverless)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, serverless architectures, and TypeScript to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly ramp up on an existing project, take ownership of user stories, and deliver good-quality, production-ready features with minimal guidance. This is a hands-on development role that also requires maintaining and enhancing the automated deployments so that our DevOps team can promote solutions seamlessly across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:


• Rapidly familiarize yourself with an ongoing project and its architecture.


• Independently design, develop, and deploy new features using AWS serverless technologies.


• Define and implement schemas and data models for DynamoDB.


• Set up and maintain fully automated deployments for development environments.


• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth promotion to higher environments.


• Build and integrate APIs with API Gateway and implement event-driven patterns using Event Bridge and Kinesis.


• Collaborate using GitLab, maintaining CI/CD pipeline.


• Write robust automated tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.


• Contribute to a highly scalable, consumer-facing system capable of handling high throughput.
