Connectivity and IOT Enterprise Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • with Sales team & Key Accounts to solve critical issues on Airtel’s IOT / M2M / Connectivity solutions
  • understand Airtel's product line and explain and educate customers about the value proposition of Airtel's IOT / M2M / Connectivity solutions
  • customer engagement and monitor customer business processes to detect issues, difficulties and weaknesses that arise they can improve Define
  • with the field. Marketing teams identify profitable opportunities, create account strategies, and provide the "voice of the customer" to product and engineering teams to explain customer and field requirements
  • proof-of-concept evaluations to implement IOT / M2M / Connectivity solutions to help customers demonstrate their ability. . to achieve goals
  • able to address technical and product issues in customer organizations at multiple layers of the IOT / M2M / Connectivity solutions value chain
  • completed product performance with internal members and other stakeholders
  • Management: RFP generation/RFI responses/RFQ management
  • / M2M / Connectivity solutions industry knowledge: understanding of global trends and product area


Technical Knowledge Required

  • of M2M solution and M2M Call flow understanding.
  • of Types of M2M APNs along with protocol used in M2M devices for Communication.
  • of routing protocol used with Peer nodes communication.
  • of NBiOT in M2M/IoT business cases
  • between MPLS and Sandvine solution of M2M.
  • of Private APN & its use Case . IN How many domains Pvt APN needs to configure incore network.
  • of DNS & GGSN along with HLR/HSS for APN configuration, FNI, Testing.
  • of M2M Use cases like Metering solution, vehicle tracking, Camera recording etc.
  • of M2M/IOT devices use cases like- RFID, wireless sensors, and microprocessor.
  • of routing protocol such as BGP(I-BGP, E-BGP), Static Routing, OSPF etc.
  • of 2GBTS, 4G enode B, 5G gnode B integration , Coverage analysis & how to optimize based on Enterprise and business requirement.
  • whitelisting Knowledge of NBiOT implementation in 4G/5G technologies.
  • of transport network such as CEN, Mpls & Metrocore and Ciena.
  • Knowledge of “how to extend P2P and Multipoint connectivity by Using IP transport” for M2M, enterprise and Business case.
  • of Open stack(CL110, CL210) , Kubernetes(CKA) is additional advance to sell out cloud based solution for customer.
  • of Security & communication protocols used for M2M/Pvt APN devices such as mQTT,CoAP,OMA, LWM2M.
  • of Packet Core, MPBN, GX-GY, Rulebase, Radius enablement etc for Mobility Point of View.
  • Communications Skills.

  • Evaluate & establish feasibility and scope of business requirement
  • Collaborate with Partners, Technology & Solution Providers in taking financial investment decisions
  • Strategy for annual network plans & Quarterly capex plans
  • Design scalable, stable interfaces to Systems like IN, NOC, and Network Provisioning & network tools.
  • Design scalable, stable interfaces to downstream IT systems like Customer Billing, Provisioning Business Intelligence & Customer care.
  • Evaluate solutions & plan adaptation to the existing business needs
  • Vendor & product segmentation / selection for existing networks


Education Level

Must have: BTECH / Engineering having Good Knowledge of Mobile Data (CS Core, VOLTE, 5G ), IT integrations, Broadband, Applications, New Services, Products & Database


Working Experience

Must have: 12 to 16 years of experience (Telecom)
