.Net Developer

Summary:

The .NET Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using the C# programming language. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of C# and its associated frameworks and experience with database management systems. Success in this position will be demonstrated by the ability to deliver high-quality code that meets project requirements and deadlines. This role is critical to the success of our organization as it supports the development of our software products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#code that meets requirements, is high quality, is maintainable, and performs efficiently and effectively.
• Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems.
• Incorporate standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing projects on time and with minimal defects.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential and adhering to all company information security policies.
• Takes ownership of processes/applications post-development, including daily monitoring to ensure ongoing success.
• Ensures that the project management system is updated with status and notes.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Review and provide feedback on functional and technical requirements.
• Define and propose solutions for meeting requirements.
• Contributing to improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing practices such as test-driven development (TDD), static code analysis, code reviews, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated security scanning.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with C# and .NET development.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Regex.
• Should have experience in using Regex for verifications work. For Example, for parsing a loan tape, which is usually in a spreadsheet with multiple columns and then a set of loan documents. The candidate should have used regex to go through each document and find the matching data to the spreadsheet. All the data is stored in tables and reports are generated through stored procedures. In this case, C# code is mainly used for configurations purpose. Also, the candidate will need to create the tables and stored procedures based on samples and a specification
• Experience with database design and development using Microsoft SQL server or other relational databases.
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and other .NET frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of Gitlab
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
