Senior SailPoint IdentityNow Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) Lead to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SailPoint IDN, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex IAM solutions.

This role requires a blend of technical leadership, hands-on development, and excellent communication skills to drive our identity security initiatives forward. You will be instrumental in migrating existing IAM functionalities to IDN, enhancing our current platform, and ensuring robust access governance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and security best practices.

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SailPoint IDN, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Drive migration activities from legacy IAM systems (e.g., SailPoint IIQ, Oracle Identity Manager) to SailPoint IDN, including strategic planning, configuration, custom development, and data manipulation.

- Design and implement customized solutions within SailPoint IDN, including connectors, LCM workflows, rules, policies, access profiles, and certifications.

- Develop automation assets using SailPoint IDN technologies (e.g., transforms, roles, rules, access policies, APIs) to streamline identity management processes.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including application teams, infrastructure, security, and business partners, to gather requirements, integrate applications, and provide comprehensive IAM solutions.

- Conduct thorough testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution for system incidents, problems, and changes related to IdentityNow.

- Monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement necessary improvements to ensure the stability and efficiency of IAM systems.

- Assist in defining and implementing SailPoint IDN governance policies and access controls, ensuring compliance with security regulations and internal policies (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI).

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, procedures, and solution designs.

- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and post-production support.

- Stay current with industry trends and SailPoint product enhancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a strong focus on SailPoint products, particularly SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN).

- Proven experience in end-to-end SailPoint IDN implementations, including use case documentation, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Strong programming and scripting skills with languages such as Java, BeanShell, Groovy, PowerShell, or Python.

- Extensive experience with REST APIs and tools (e.g., Postman) for integration and automation.

- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, user provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), access certifications, and access governance.

- Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP) and HR systems integration.

- Knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and web services (REST, SOAP).

- Experience with relational databases (SQL, JDBC) and database concepts.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer or Architect certification.

- Experience with other IAM solutions (e.g., Saviynt, Okta, Ping Identity).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with IAM solutions.

- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
