This position is responsible for building, enhancing, managing, and supporting multiple aspects of the Salesforce Lightning platform, including development, configuration, customization, the implementation of applications, third-party integrations, and DevOps support using the Sales and Service clouds.


The purpose of the Senior Developer is to develop and improve business processes of technology solutions within Investment Management.


The Senior Developer will use analytical skills to help develop and code solutions in Salesforce, SQL Server, ADF, Snowflake, Alteryx, PowerBI, Workato


The Senior Developer will design business functions, applications, information, and infrastructure architectures


The Senior Developer will ensure coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining components of information :


- Code high-risk and/or high-complexity modules and establish patterns and practices for the team to follow.


- Collaborate with IM Distribution Leads, Project Managers, Architects, Product owners, business partners, stakeholders, and team members to establish requirements and to implement an overall project plan and solution design that enables the strategic business vision.


- An ideal candidate is team-oriented, customer-focused, and possesses a balance of technical skills and business acumen.


- Interact with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and expectations.


- Define and ensure adherence to standards and guidelines and on-time delivery of team deliverables.

Own Analysis, High-Level Design/Architecture, and a direction for the project.


- Research new frameworks, solutions, tools, techniques, and best practices to improve team productivity.


- Design and implementation of new stories and bug fixes.


- Perform thorough design and code reviews and support code deployments/post-go-live activities.


- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective measures on defects/issues identified.


- Provide technical direction and coaching to software developers in application development activities.


- Adhere to all Organizational and IT policies/processes for software development and project management.


- Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to the delivery of methodologies, standards, and tools.


- Explore innovative technology trends and apply them in appropriate scenarios to deliver value to Teams, Customers, and Organizations.


- Assist the Project Manager in the successful execution of the project (estimation, dependency identification, reviews, customer satisfaction, etc).


Help the Technical/Project Manager identify and allocate the right resources, considering the project needs, skill set, and aptitude of the resources.


Contribute to Organizational knowledge base thus bringing in reusability and reducing operational cost.


Requirements :


- 6-8 years of overall IT experience with hands-on experience in coding and designing applications.


- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration, development, and/or administration experience, SQL Server development.


- 2+ years of experience working as a Senior Developer or any similar role with capability and an ardent desire to be in an Agile environment and knowledge of and/or experience using Agile execution frameworks and tools (Scrum, SAFe, ADO, VersionOne, Jira, ).


- 2+ years of Investment Management domain exposure, Sales, and Distribution knowledge would be a bonus.


- Expert understanding of design patterns, practices, and concepts with the ability to implement appropriate technology solutions.


- Hands-on with coding, unit testing, and production issue troubleshooting.


- Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or the Force.com platform.


- Knowledge and practical application of Lightning Web Components, Lightning Data Service, Lightning

Framework, Visualforce, APEX programming, Test Classes, Aura components, Force.com APIs, SOQL,

and Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON).


- Strong JavaScript, HTML, XML, and CSS skills with experience in at least one front-end JavaScript framework.


- Experience using Data Loader, Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.


- Experience in designing UI solutions for Business Intelligence.


- Experience with Visual Studio Code, SQL Management Studio, and GIT/TFS (Team Foundation Server).


- Experience working as a direct point of contact with the business and/or key stakeholders.


- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and

the ability to effect change in a matrix-managed organization.


- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.


- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and plan work effectively.


- Able to work with minimal oversight and direction, and the ability to grasp concepts quickly.


- A proactive mindset that looks for opportunities to improve.


- Ability to produce high-quality technical analysis and documentation.


- Understanding of the Azure Cloud platform is needed.


- SSIS, SSRS, and Tidal knowledge are nice to have.


- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be good to have.


- Experience with AutoRABIT, Flosum, Copado, Visual Studio Code, Git, and/or other code management and deployment tools would be a plus.


- Experience working in a DevOps delivery and support model would be a plus.


- Ability to guide and mentor other team members.


- Exposure to any of these technologies would be good to have: ADF, Snowflake, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBI, Workato.


- Proficiency in MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and PowerPoint.


- Engineering Graduate or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Science or equivalent.


- Salesforce certifications would be a plus (Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator

certifications, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications).


- Agile certifications would be a plus.


- Investment products and/or financial services industry experience.


- Investment Management certifications would be a plus.
