Description : Role Description :- Responsible for business and functional solution design, technical analysis of platform capabilities, business process analysis, and end-to-end testing (including support for client UAT).- Work both independently and within a client-aligned team to examine existing IT systems and business models, analyse business and technical requirements, and translate them into user stories and functional documentation.- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution designs align with client requirements.- Collaborate closely with IT developers to provide clarity and oversight on the development approach.- Requires broad knowledge of platform capabilities and deep understanding of assigned functional areas.- Provide consultative support in workshops and assist Solution Consultants in gathering and defining requirements.- Involved in all aspects of testingfrom functional specification testing and UAT support to more technical approaches like test automation, database manipulation, and XML injection testing.- Expected to continuously learn about the application, business domain, industry landscape, and various testing tools and methodologies.Preferred Industry Knowledge : - Experience in an analysis or testing environment- Understanding of investment, wealth, life, or pensions products and markets- Awareness of regulatory environments in financial services- Good experience in technology delivery in the financial services / wealth domainRequired Knowledge & Skills :- Prior experience in an analysis or testing role- Confident, proactive, and delivery-focused mindset- Independent and self-directed working style- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Intermediate computer skills (SQL desirable)- Excellent organisational, administration, and time-management skills- Strong team communication and client interaction skills- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilitiesPreferred Skills : - Experience with Java and Selenium- Hands-on knowledge of Selenium WebDriver- Experience with testing REST APIs (ref:hirist.tech)
