Bilingual Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Bilingual Software Engineer (Japanese). The position is located in Thiruvananthapuram, India.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with the customer to understand customer requirements and coordinate closely with the offshore team to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meeting Technical staff and Business stakeholders on aspects of scope clarification, requirements gathering, coordination, etc.
  • Active collaboration with technical, QA and Management for planning, tracking and resolving project issues.
  • Interacting with sales, the business development team
  • Interacting with vendors
  • Appropriate reporting and execution of tasks discussed by the Manager.


Qualifications and Required Work Experience:

  • Bilingual engineer with fluent English and Japanese verbal and written communication skills (JLPT N3 above language certification).
  • Knowledge in software development methodology and process.
  • Practical experience in business analysis, software development, testing, and bridging between onsite and offshore teams.
  • Direct customer management experience.
  • Educational background: B. Tech/M.Tech/MCA.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of international experience.
