With operations spanning e-waste, plastics, metals, and refurbished IT assets, ELIMA aims to create a responsible ecosystem that connects sustainability, technology, and human capital.As the organization scales across multiple verticals and geographies, ELIMA seeks a strong HR professional who can lead its people agenda- combining strategic thinking with operational depth to build a culture of accountability, inclusion, and growth.Role OverviewThe Senior HR Leader – People & Culture / Talent Management will manage both strategic and operational aspects of HR across the organization. This role will oversee people operations for ELIMA’s recycling facility as well as the white-collar team that manages the corporate, administrative, and technical functions.The person will play a key role in building ELIMA’s internal culture, aligning workforce practices with business goals, and ensuring full compliance with labour and industrial laws.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Management & Compliance- Manage HR operations for both blue-collar and white-collar employees across the plant and office. - Ensure compliance with Industrial and Labour Laws -Factories Act, Shops & Establishment, Contract Labour Act, etc. - Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, etc.).Talent Acquisition & Development- Lead recruitment for facility and office teams, identifying and attracting the right talent across all levels. - Build a structured onboarding and orientation framework that fosters alignment and readiness. - Develop learning and leadership programs for continuous skill improvement and role progression.Culture, Engagement & Team Building- Build and reinforce a people-first culture rooted in responsibility, collaboration, and ownership. - Design and drive employee engagement and team-building initiatives across departments and shifts. - Set the tone for communication, discipline, and positive work relationships across the organization.Policy, Systems & Governance- Create and update HR policies, systems, and procedures in alignment with legal and business requirements. - Implement HRMS systems and dashboards for better visibility and control. - Work closely with leadership to ensure workforce planning, productivity, and policy consistency across sites.Strategic & Expansion Support- Support leadership in manpower planning for new projects and upcoming facilities across India. - Contribute to succession planning, performance management, and organizational design initiatives. - Act as the bridge between management and employees, maintaining balance between people care and performance.Preferred Profile- MBA / PGDM in HR, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Development. - 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally across manufacturing, recycling, or similar sectors. - Proven experience managing both plant-level (blue-collar) and corporate (white-collar) teams. - Strong understanding of HR operations, labour laws, compliance, and employee relations. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Added Advantage- Experience in fast-growing, multi-location organizations. - Background in setting up HR systems or scaling people processes from ground up. - Ability to build culture while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.What Success Looks Like- Engaged and aligned workforce across plant and office teams. - Smooth HR operations with strong compliance and data integrity. - A unified organization culture that reflects ELIMA’s purpose, discipline, and growth mindset.How to Apply:If you’re passionate about people, culture, and building strong teams within a purpose-driven organization, email your resume to careers@elima.inSubject Line: Application for Senior HR Leader – People & Culture / Talent Management
